Over nine out of 10 Americans (88%), or the vast majority, support the legalization of cannabis for either medicinal or recreational use. Moreover, a sizable majority (57%) support the notion of legalizing cannabis for both recreational and medicinal purposes. Merely 32% of respondents are in favor of legalizing cannabis just for medicinal use, while only 11% are against legalizing it completely.
