While this breathing exercise is just as effective without cannabis – I find that when you eat an edible or smoke 20-30 minutes before a Breathwork exercise – that you can go much deeper within the meditative stages [the breath holds].
It’s important to note that you should not do these breathing exercises if you have respiratory conditions if you don’t have permission from your physician. For the vast majority of the people, this experience will be fine – but it’s important to always listen to your body.
