Conservative Cannabis? 68% of Republican Voters Now Support Federal Cannabis Reform Says New CPEAR Survey

The poll conducted by CPEAR indicates that 68% of likely Republican voters who may participate in the 2024 presidential primary or caucus support ending the federal prohibition of cannabis. Furthermore, 70% of respondents expressed their support for states’ rights to take the lead in cannabis legalization. These numbers represent a significant increase compared to CPEAR’s previous poll in 2022, which showed that 58% of GOP voters supported federal cannabis reform.
