Notably, most of the men in the study had average sperm counts, implying that other factors related to conception had brought them and their partners to the hospital, according to Chavarro. To evaluate sperm quality, the researchers collected and scrutinized 1,143 semen samples from the study’s subjects. Additionally, blood samples were drawn from 317 of these men, which were then used to assess reproductive hormone levels. Furthermore, the researchers administered questionnaires to the participants, inquiring about their marijuana usage habits.
