Does Medical Marijuana Help with Stomach Ulcers?

Marijuana interacts with the endocannabinoid system where it protects the digestive system from harm by the gastric acids. THC is found to bind with the CB1 receptors to prevent gastric acid production. CBD also has an impact on the CB1 receptors in the GI tract. If CBD is taken orally in an oil form, it also contributes to the inhibition of gastric acid secretion.
