The parents of the teenagers of today, were the teenagers of the hippies and grew to go against the counter-culture. In other words – closer to the established culture. These were the parents of today’s parents or the grandparents to the children of today. However, the parents of today swung back towards liberalism – however, with a more post-modern vibe to it.
