Marshawn Lynch Goes All In on Weed With Originals Collab

NFL legend Marshawn Lynch has always played the game his own way. Now he’s doing the same in cannabis. His brand Dodi, born in the Bay, is teaming up with Originals in Los Angeles to take things to a new level.

From Oakland to L.A.

Dodi started as a Northern California flower line with a reputation for top genetics and a real connection to cannabis culture. Lynch says that’s why the deal with Originals makes sense. “Family is a big part of why I’m involved in this industry, and Originals is family. They’re respected for being the best at what they do, and that means a lot to me.”

The First Strains

The debut lineup is all about flavor and power:

  • Beast Berry – fruity Gelato hybrid inspired by Lynch’s nickname
  • Milk & Cookies – a Runtz cross with an Oreo cut for a sweet, balanced high
  • Charlie OG – heavy OG from Originals’ vault with classic kick

The Celebration

Fans got to meet Marshawn at Originals’ flagship facility in South Central, tour the grow, and taste the lineup. Everyone left with a gift bag stacked with the new strains and a story to tell.

Why It Hits

Celebrities have jumped into cannabis before, but this one feels different. Marshawn Lynch carries the Bay on his shoulders and now he’s planting that energy in L.A. With Originals backing the grow, Dodi isn’t just another athlete brand. It’s authentic, loud, and ready for the spotlight.
