About eight days ago, social media platforms like Twitter (now X), Facebook, and Instagram began buzzing with discussions, petitions, and activist campaigns advocating for broader access to medical cannabis and the legalization of personal cultivation. This surge of public interest and online activism comes after years of stagnation in the country’s cannabis policy implementation, despite medical cannabis being legalized as far back as 2017.
