Why the Cannabis Market is Like Buying Condos in Florida during the Housing Crisis of 2008

Private investments in cannabis today are like South Florida condos were in 2011 (just before Warren Buffett’s game-changing February 2012 comment), or like public marijuana stocks in 2017 and 2018 (just before Constellation Brands dropped a cool $4 Billion into Canopy Growth in August 2018). The opportunity is here, the signals are strong – however most investors are not inclined to undertake the research to fully understand the issues.
