While the cannabis industry was busy shaming MassRoots for crowing about its PPP loan of $50,000, other cannabis companies were also quietly getting these funds. However, publicly traded companies can’t keep everything quiet and so it gets disclosed. CFN Enterprises and Akerna both disclosed they have applied and received PPP loans. CFN Enterprises (OTC:CNFN), home to CFN Media said that on May 6, it received $263,000 in a PPP loan, money that looks like it will mostly go towards paying its executives handsome salaries.
